The Design Build Process

Phase 1
Initial Phone Call
The initial step in our collaboration is to get in touch with us. During a series of phone calls, we will discuss the overall scope of your project to determine if we are a suitable match. We'll cover the timeline and budget, and request photos of your current space. If we find that we align well, we will then arrange a visit to your home.
Phase 2
Design Agreement
Many of our clients prefer to enter into a comprehensive agreement with us, where we take you all the way through design, to pre-construction, to execution. This helps our clients to simplify the process by working with one contractor and their established group of subcontractors, which eliminates frustrations and empowers one main point person to be responsible for getting it done.
Phase 3
Construction Agreement
Our construction agreement is a very detailed and specific document to make sure we are all clear on the expectations of your project. We treat every project – every home – as if it were our own. We would never expect you to sign something that you didn't wholly agree with and understand. That's why we make it a priority to completely lay out the specifics of the Construction Phase in the Construction Agreement. We sign it when all parties are thoroughly confident in the designated framework of their investment, including estimated costs and timeline, all design details, and a full understanding of what to expect during the Construction Phase.
Phase 4
Construction Phase
Now it's time for us to roll up our sleeves and get started! As we begin to create your space, we will do everything possible to ensure that the Construction Phase is seamless and considerate of your daily routine. We are just as excited for you to enjoy your updated home as you are to move in! Once the project is complete, get ready to host your friends and show off your stunning new space!
